Step through the doors of Star Falls High School and you’ll immediately be in the land ruled by Ruby Steele. It was never anything she intended, in fact Ruby was a very sweet, nice, girl until she started school and she found out not everyone is so nice. While the rest of the girls were playing Barbies in elementary school, Ruby was playing football with the boys. The rough housing became something she grew accustomed to and she made friends quickly among both genders. She ultimately scares just about everyone, which has resulted in her having more popularity then she knows what to do with. Ruby’s parents decided to stay in Star Falls when the evacuation happened because of a child they had several years before Ruby. The baby boy had died only weeks after being born and was buried in the local cemetery, and the two decided to stay with their child. Then before they knew it, they had Ruby.
She discovered her power in middle school when she could literally get anyone to fall to their knees with a look. Realizing others had a power too made her feel like she fit in somewhere for the first time in a long time, and she genuinely tries to get along with everyone. In order to keep peace between everyone she feels there needs to be a family vibe. (Even if some people are literally at each others throats) She realizes her power is capable of many things and is afraid of what damage she could really do. Keeping up her tough girl facade is the only thing she can do to make sure no one finds out deep down, she’s scared shitless. Powers aside, she tries her hardest to keep up in school even though she tends to struggle and is apart of the Star Falls Stallions cheerleading squad.

One Word to Describe The Character: ConcernedSample Para: (In character. Three paragraphs minimum) After getting off of work at the Burke’s Diner, Janell made her way towards her car to head on home. It was a tuesday night, so naturally, it wasn’t too busy, which was good for Janell. She wasn’t dolled up to perfection like she usually was. She simply had her hair up in a bun and barely any make up on. It wasn’t her usual way of looking — she usually had her hair done flawlessly and her make up was always perfect. But, she wasn’t really feeling it that day. She’d had a lot on her mind, particularly about one of her closest friends.
Her car was a modest and simple little one. Nothing too flashy, as she and her mother couldn’t afford it. As she revved up the engine, she got an email from an email address she didn’t recognize at all. And what did the message contain? Hate. The e-mail had nothing positive to say about Janell, and even so, it made her a little bit happy. Whereas most girls would cry over such vulgar and nasty things said to and about them, Janell was quite content with it. She thoroughly liked the idea of being talked about. After all, there’s no such thing as bad publicity. Even at a young age, Janell was always the attention seeker. She didn’t care if it was for negative reasons, and often acted up just to receive all kinds of attention. And nothing has change.
On the drive home, Janell was still feeling rather smitten with herself. She’d been gone for almost a year, and the people of Star Falls were still talking about her. But, Janell couldn’t let anybody know that she actually liked the spotlight being on her. It made her feel as if she was still back on her throne as the queen of Star Falls. It still hadn’t processed in her mind that every queen’s reign must end.
Janell decided to take a short cut to her house that night, which meant driving through her bestfriend’s neighborhood. She stopped as soon as she got to Celia Hansen’s house. The two had so many fond memories in that one estate that Janell would never take back for the world. But something had been up with Celia recently. Whenever they spoke, Celia seemed a bit more distant, bitchier than usual, and that left Janell to wonder what could possibly be wrong with her bestfriend. She’d noticed that she’d been spending a lot of time with a certain male, Shane White. Janell tried with all of her might not to jump to conclusions, but she just couldn’t help herself. Was Celia turning against them? And was she bringing Shane with her? Colton would not be pleased at all. Something that drastic could cause so much damage and destruction to a place like Star Falls.
Instead of stopping to say hello to her friend, Janell decided to drive away. She needed somebody to talk to about Celia. Lol, I have a legit reason this time.
We’ve been having evacuations all day because fires have been starting where I live…basically everyday in different parts of the states. And suddenly it got really windy about a half an hour ago and it began to rain so bad, I went outside to get the trashcan and literally got pushed into my house by water. Holy shit.
Anyways the lightening/rain is letting up now so I think it’s okay for me to be back on my computer. >_>
